6 rounds of interview only to be rejected. 😫 Inubos ko yung tatlong linggo ko sa 6 rounds ng interview. Nag-effort ako sa presentations at puyat, akala ko secured na kasi "strong candidate" daw ako. Tapos 2-minute call lang, rejected agad? Walang matinong feedback! Ganito na ba talaga kalala hiring ngayon? Ilang rounds ba dapat bago sabihing sapat na? Nakaka-drain sobra.

I FAKED MY RESUME. PAANO NA TO?? Nag-apply ako for a manager role, pero ang totoo, assistant manager lang ang actual title ko. Desperate, I know! Pero na-pasa ko 'yung interviews and skills test. Ngayon, background check na. Chine-check ba talaga ng HR ng new company 'yung exact job title at salary ko sa previous employer? Super worried ako na ma-flag 'yung discrepancy!

LUGI BA TALAGA PAG WALA KANG BACKER? 25 na 'ko. Ubos na resume ko kakapasa, pero laging ghosted. Yung iba, petiks lang pero hired agad kasi may "tito" sa loob. Sobrang nakaka-demotivate. Totoo ba na connections > skills na talaga sa Pinas? Sa mga nakalusot ng walang kapit, paano niyo ginalingan? Need ko lang ng proof na kaya pa.

“Fake it ’til you make it?!” 😅 3x ko na naranasan mag-hire ng applicant na sobrang galing mag-pretend sa interview, tapos pagdating sa trabaho, wala naman palang alam? Nakakapagod na! Seryoso, sa mga nagha-hire, lalo na sa recruiters like me, grabe na ‘to! May nakaka-relate ba?

DEAR CANDIDATES, BAKIT AMBAGAL NYO MAG REPLY??? I’m asking for availability or setting interviews, tapos magre-reply after working hours? Do you think I want to deal with that while I’m home cooking and settling family matters? Some even take 2-3 days to respond. You think you’re the only candidate on my list? Unpopular opinion: The "Backer System" is just a convenient excuse for mediocrity. 🚩 In my 3 years of working in the corporate world, I’ve never had to use a "Tito" or "Ninong" to get a seat at the table. Pure skills, pure hustle. 🤷 If your CV is getting rejected, maybe stop blaming the "system" and start looking at your portfolio?

Was called "palamunin" because nasa bahay lang ako habang batchmates ko Managers na. 32, laid off, & broke. Kinain ko pride ko to move back home, pero araw-araw na 'kong sinusumbatan. "Ang tanda mo na, asa ka pa rin sa magulang." Hindi naman ako t@mad eh. I send 50+ applications a day pero ghosted lagi. Kasalanan ko bang ang hirap ma-hire pag 30s na? Feeling ko failure na talaga ako. 😞

180k salary monthly pero pagod na pagod na. Help! 29M, no kids, earns 180k net per month pero burnout na malala. Toxic environment at long hours, hindi ko na nakikita sarili ko rito. May 1M savings ako at balak mag-resign to start a business. Risk: for sure pay cut pag bumalik ako sa corporate. Tama ba na i-let go ang ganitong sahod for peace of mind?
