“Fake it ’til you make it?!” May nakaka-relate ba?

It’s because interviews often measure how well a person talks about the job rather than how well they can actually do it. Many candidates can explain theory but struggle to apply it in real situations, especially since interview questions are neat and predictable while real work is messy and unpredictable. Then why not change the strategy? for many years in business it should be address by now and give chances to those who deserves it.This is actually the root of toxicity.

then there's applicants who showed themselves who they really are, and showing genuinely their capabilities to contribute to the firm, yet not accepted due to no direct experience.

In my 20+ years in HR, I see the fault on our side, we focus too much on communication skills, first impressions, and interview composure, instead of improving metrics. Candidates aren’t to blame, our measurement systems have loopholes. Situational questions and layered probing questions that reveal on-the-spot problem-solving show more genuine, strategic thinking.
Again, as HR's let us think out of the box and not blame candidates for our mishaps.
Quick Note: Imperfect hires often thrive.

This is true. I'm not an HR pero I've been attended interviews recently but got rejected. I'm not good during interviews and only provide all true skills and experiences pero pag dating sa work I do my best more than pa sa responsibilities assigned. Even my past client would say I can be an asset to the company. Pero the reality is mas napipili pa yung magaling sa interview pero pag dating sa work pa easy easy lang, kesa sa hindi ganun ka perfect ang interview pero maayos mag work.

biktima narin ako ng ganyang scenario many times this is why we have 3 and 6 months evaluation to see the results of an applicant kung applicable ba sila talaga sa work/position pero too many times narin may scenarios akong ganyan na sobrang convincing nila on interview pero ibang iba sa actual work

As a bagong salang na HR sa work this is a great reminder po and pls sa mga nag-a-apply pls avoid doing this, di mo need mag panggap just to impress us mas gusto namin na honest ka na alam mo yung strength & weakness mo kesa false hopes kasi kami din mahihirapan mga hr to fix it
