Hello! I wanna get some insights sana. Just a short background, I'm a vocational graduate from the province. I was offered a job here in Parañaque that pays around 20k. When I searched for related job posting, their range is 16k - 18k. I have around 9 months of solid experience in the HR Role, however I have no degree and maybe I'm just lucky with my first job. Now prospective employers offer me the same range 16k to 18k. Should I lower my salary expectations? tyia for the inputs.

Is it possible to earn 100k per month?! I'm an accountant with salary of 18k per month. WFH po ako. So naiisip ko na pwede pa ako mag-work ng another job. Possible po ba na ma-target ko yung 100k per month? Knowing na 18k sahod ko sa regular job ko?😅 Plano ko kasi na kapag 25yrs old ako dapat napa-renovate ko na Bahay/Boarding House namin. Kasi ang magiging benefit po sakin kapag napaayos Boarding House yun na maging passive income ko going forward sa expenses.

Fresh grad earning 30k a month! 💪🏼 This is not to brag! I'm just really happy and want to share my success with everyone. Kaya natin kumita ng 30k, at sa panahon na 'to, dapat nga ang range ng salary sa Pilipinas ay 30k pataas na. Biruin mo, ang taas ng bilihin pero minimum wage ay nasa 600 pa rin? Hindi talaga makatarungan! I suggest sa iba na gustong kumita nang malaki, like 30k a month, magtry kayo ng CSR jobs. As long as willing ka matuto. Now very happy naman ako ngayon sa career ko! 😁

I got a 6-digit salary with only 1 year of experience! Sobrang saya ko! For context: graduate ako ng engineering, pero napunta ko sa data analytics field. 30k unang sahod ko sa una kong work, pero since di pumayag boss ko sa raise, naisipan kong maghanap na lang. Nakahanap ako dito sa Jobstreet, matagal nga lang process pero worth it! Grabe 6 digit earner na ko! Di ko akalain HAHA! Tip ko lang: upskill, hanap ng international clients, then negotiate. Soon, 6 digit earner na rin kayo!

Grabe! I went through all the effort to get a friend a developer job at a top startup. Offer na nila ₱80k/month, tapos nireject niya kasi gusto niya ₱160k agad! 🙄 No experience pa naman. I mean, sino ba siya? Now the hiring manager keeps messaging me about it. Hindi ko talaga gets. Kayo, ano ang acceptable starting salary for a newbie dev?
