DEAR CANDIDATES, BAKIT AMBAGAL NYO MAG REPLY???
I’m asking for availability or setting interviews, tapos magre-reply after working hours? Do you think I want to deal with that while I’m home cooking and settling family matters?
Some even take 2-3 days to respond. You think you’re the only candidate on my list? If you don’t take me seriously, I won’t take you seriously either, auto-reject agad. Manners and courtesy naman, please! YOU ARE APPLYING.

Iba narin kasi panahon ngayon ang hirap na mag hanap ng trabaho like me sa isang araw meron akong 5 job interviews siyempre may mas nauna pang offer kesa sayo kaya isipin mo din lagay ng applicants and the fact na nag reply kami meaning interested pa kami kaya unawa at adjust2 lang yan both party

In my experience, when I inform the HR that a position is open in my department, I always remind the hiring team to always expect delayed replies from applicants. Since some of them might have side gigs or are currently working in the service industry while trying to break in to their dream jobs. You're an HR you're hired by your company to manage people, you are required to be empathic cause it's part of your job.

I’m an HR but I never thought of my candidates this way. Understand also that they may have their respective jobs during the day and they’re only able to reply after work, minsan over the weekend pa. There’s nothing wrong with that. And honestly, imposible na wala kang email app sa phone mo, you can always read and acknowledge. It will not eat an hour of your day to respond. Empathy is a must have for an HR, try mo lang.

I see no disrespect in replying late. The fact that u're asking bakit antagal magreply means u have to give them benefit of the doubt, not prejudice their application by marking them "auto reject." Besides, u have the option and control not to reply to a late reply. U even have the option of staying away from work after office hours; yet u chose to take applicants' late replies personally. HIRING IS A TWO-WAY STREET. Applicants look for jobs; employers look for talents they dont have. Be nice!
