Accounting Assistant
Is it possible to earn 100k per month?! I'm an accountant with salary of 18k per month. WFH po ako. So naiisip ko na pwede pa ako mag-work ng another job. Possible po ba na ma-target ko yung 100k per month? Knowing na 18k sahod ko sa regular job ko?😅
Plano ko kasi na kapag 25yrs old ako dapat napa-renovate ko na Bahay/Boarding House namin. Kasi ang magiging benefit po sakin kapag napaayos Boarding House yun na maging passive income ko going forward sa expenses.

Yung pag renovate ng bahay and dagdag ng 2nd flr for bhouse, probably daw po mag cost ng 1M+.
Kaya naisip ko na para ma-achieve ko yung goal ko dapat may 100k per month akong sahod. Possible po ba yun or masyado po bang mataas goal ko?😅 and kung possible po ano po kaya job/s ang pwede ko pasukan? Thank you po in advance sa sasagot.

It's good to have goals but don't rush it, baka mapagod ka rin in the long run at masira lahat ng plano mo. it's possible to have that kind of salary with your target age but do it slowly and dont look at the numbers. Some people were able to reach big salaries fast but end up regretting it because of health problems and responsibilities kahit ano pa goal nila.

Working Student
Work as freelancer. Bookkeeper earns 7-10 usd per hour for bookkeeping lang to ha daming nagbobookkeeper na mga College students palang. Mas malaki sahuran ng mga accountant talaga. Ang daming fields sa accountancy na naghahanap ng mga freelancer. Sample lang yung general accounting 20-30usd per hour. Mas okay if may alam ka sa US or AU taxation ba yon. so I think achievable sya.

Based on my experience kayang kaya. You just have to acquire the skills and experience before you to get that salary kasi. Then lakas ng loob mag ask sa mga next work mo ng double or triple na expected salary for you to attain that salary in a few years.

Yes turning 18k to 6 digits. Accounting grad din earning 6 digits. I applied for ERP jobs then gradually nag-increase. Depende sa swerte pero possible na unti-unti din sya like to 30k to 60k to 100k ganun.

For people working in the IT industry, yes it's possible to get that salary within a few years. Not sure sa field mo. I have friends who are CPAs and I heard from them na maliit magpasahod ang mga companies dito. For example, sabi nila a senior accountant only gets around 40k-65k. But maybe if you juggle 2-3 jobs at a time, makakamit mo yung 6 digit sahod. I work as a software dev and it took me 8 years to get to the 6 digit mark.

I actually envy accountants nowadays. Ang laki ng sweldo nila sa mga outsourcing companies. Try to look for BPO companies requiring accountants. 100k minsan salary dun. Good luck!
