Asking for a raise is terrifying. My annual review is coming up and I want to ask for a 20% increase because I’ve taken on the work of two people. How do I present my case without sounding entitled? Should I bring a list of my accomplishments or a comparison of market salaries? I’m so nervous that they might say no or think I’m ungrateful.
