Serious question, guys! 21, jr high school grad, and ready to level up! Sabi ng friend ko try ko daw mag TESDA, pero confused ako kung kailangan ko muna mag-SHS para mag-enroll. May mga naka-experience ba na naka-enroll kahit walang SHS? Any advice or better options na pwede kong itry? 👀

Good question, and good job for thinking ahead! TESDA is open to junior high completers, especially under the old curriculum. What matters is your willingness to learn a skill. Now, ask yourself: Are you ready to enter the workforce soon, or do you want to pursue a college degree later? TESDA is great for technical skills, and many graduates even get hired abroad. But if college is still in your plan, SHS is a required step. You can even do both TESDA now, SHS later.

Yes, puwede ka mag-enroll sa TESDA kahit high school graduate ka lang (old curriculum, like JR high). Hindi required ang Senior High School para makapasok sa karamihan ng TESDA programs.

make sure to check their online website lalo na yung e-TESDA portal din for any available lalo na yung location din na malapit sayo kasi di lahat ino-offer mga curriculum pero sa tanong mo dati working student ako. Hindi ko na tinuloy SHS kasi kailangan tumulong sa pamilya pero thanks to tesda, nakapasok ako sa Electrical Installation course at walang issue naman sa natapos ko ngayon certified na ako at may sideline akong electrical work

Take the TESDA. College is important specially kung technical ang kukunin mo like engineering, architecture, IT, or medical field. To future-proof ang career mo, take the medical field. Take certifications. May mga US companies hiring offshore even without a college degree but with certifications sa medical field. Check Allison.com for free education and certifications.
