POV: Nag-hire ka ng Gen Z.. 🤦 Fresh grad, bagong onboard, nasa probationary period pa lang, pero humihirit na ng raise kasi daw may “added value” sa team! 😅 I had to remind them na probation pa lang, at focus muna sa basics! At hindi lang isang beses nangyari ‘to—MARAMI TALAGA! Kaya siguro ibang companies nagiging mas strict sa qualifications. Ready ka na ba for the Gen Z workforce?

I get both parties pero wala rin sa masama sa ginagawa sa part ni gen z he/she is just making sure his/her efforts are recognized di yung on the day pa ng evaluation mare-realized pinag gagawa niya and that's a nice employee to hire kasi you can see the applicant efforts din with the right price which is the right thing naman talaga, we're paying employees based on their performance

ano po yung mali dito? pakituro po? kaya nga nagpapakitang gilas yung applicant kasi for probation palang siya also you can still negotiate pa pag probation, baka kuripot niyo kasi diyan kaya nag a-ask siya ng dagdag since may result siya ng performance din niya di ba? as an HR i take note mo nalang and hayaan mo upper management mag decide

Honestly, I admire Gen Z’s mindset and confidence when it comes to demanding fair pay. They’re not here to be taken advantage of or treated like they’re ‘lucky just to have a job, they know their worth. Wish I had that same boldness to push back and demand better. Feels like they’re breaking free from that old, colonial work mindset of being grateful for scraps.
