Maintenance Engineer
Mechanical Engr here for about 15 yrs +. My salary in my latest employment in Paranaque is only PhP 28k basic. Sa mga nagsasabing underpaid daw yung mga accountant dito saten sa 'Pinas eh pano pala kami mga engineers? I resigned 'cause there's no work balance, and also I could say abusive yun manager ko dahil sinabi saken na yun daily OT ko is bawasan daw ng 1 hour as tulong sa company at magpasalamat na lang na meron daw work kami. Pathetic reasoning!

My basic monthly salary is 16k. But it doesn't really compensate the work I’m doing. I work in a housing developer company with a lot of house types which I find very frustrating, mostly when a single change from the plan affects all the type, WITH A LOT OF SUBDIVISIONS on going. Yes, it may sound easy, but the VOLUME of work doesn't align with the pay I receive. Only it makes me stay because of the HMO they offer I also find quite considerate since the work is kinda stressing the employees out.

Unfair yung salary ko kasi weekly, kumpara sa monthly. Ako kasi per week 4,800 ang sinasahod kasama na kaltas, unfair din kasi pag may mga holiday na walang pasok yung mga monthly bayad kaming mga weekly is no work no pay kaya na pa ka unfair .
