HR Supervisor
40k/Month + Perks: Fair deal or TOO LOW? HR officer here, we hired a team lead for ₱40k/month (almost double ng dati niyang admin job salary). Hybrid setup, flexible hours, health insurance, at may paid time off pa. Sobrang saya niya sa offer, pero sabi ng iba, parang kulang daw? Based sa market rates, competitive naman for a team lead role, pero now napapaisip ako—mali ba ang benchmark namin or iba lang talaga expectations? Thoughts?

For me kahit ako masaya sa offer na to kahit di to para sa akin 😅 Lalo na yung kayo nag initiate to double the applicant offer napakabihira niyan kasi karamihan babaratin or pag nalaman nilang mababa lang asking ng applicant is tuwang tuwa sila which is di ko gets sa mga HR bat di sila maging honest sa applicants kung ano fair salary e di naman sila nagpapasahod di ba

That's low. but that's just me. team leads should get a higher rate. 40K is like agent rate if you work in a fair compensating agency. Dapat leadership role should already be 50K up. I understand the stress, workloads, multitask and mental turmoil TLs go through. That’s low.

Dapat di nyo nirerate ang applicant based sa last salary rate nya. Give her d rate based on skills and assessment nyo sa kanya or kung ano ung value nya, hindi ung based lang sa kung magkano ung dati nyang sahod. Just to share,maswerte ako sa mga naging employers ko kasi from 23k-25k nagjump ako to 50k sa next employer. Tapos paglipat ko ulit they offered me 93k agad at nagkapay raise pa after a year ng 5k. Hindi nila lahat binase sa last salary ko but they based it on my skills and experiences

It depends on the industry. Ano ba ang ginamit nyo for benchmarking? pwede kasing doble nga ng previous sahod niya pero below average naman sa role within your industry.

Full Stack Developer
When ask what is my expected salary, I said between 30k - 40k. I have 5 years of experience as a developer and I aced the technical interview. They offered me to a Senior role with 55k. If the person deserve the salary then it is worth to give them higher offers, this is why you guys measure potential employee performance. Other companies includes level-up mechanics to employees, if the employee performs well you can increase their pay at a later date. 40k is not a bad starting salary.
