Employers should be hiring older workers because we can bring advantages into the workplace. We already have extensive experience and skills and a proven work ethic which reduces turnover. We have handled several stressful situations already and can bring more solution options to bear on problems. We need less supervision and training leading to faster on-boarding at lower costs. And we can mentor younger staff, sharing our knowledge and experience.
