Nagbabasa ba kayo ng job description bago mag-apply? 😅 Out of 50 CVs today, I rejected 30 agad: overage, hindi aligned ang experience, kulang sa skills. Hindi sa nanghuhusga, pero sayang effort niyo kung apply lang nang apply. Basahin niyo muna yung job description, please. Just a tip: Apply smart, not just hard. 🙏

Grabe naman kasi minsan parang sobrang taas ng standards, kailangan ba laging 100% match? Paano yung willing matuto at mabilis matuto? Wala na bang space sa potential huhu hirap na nga mag apply at ganto lang din pala kadaling ma reject di based sa skills na meron ka 😔 kuwawa naman fresh grads

Ganito po ba attitude ng isang recruiter? Basing on the reaction of the recruiter I think it’s a blessing that you didn’t make it to their company. Recruiter palang ganyan na ugali what more sa management mismo ng company.

In job interviews, some people just wing it, hoping to get hired out of necessity. I believe that skills and experience are important, but they're not the only factors. What's more crucial is the ability to learn and perform on the job. Personally, I struggle with interviews, but once I'm in a role, I focus and deliver results. I've even been able to drive significant revenue growth without having all the skills the company initially looked for.

Putting so much on your qualifications kaya ung iba nag aabroad nlng dahil napakataas ng expectation nyu s mga applicants nyu Hindi lahat may experience but mostly are willing to learn. Overseas hnggat willing to learn ka and tou can handle it, pasok ka. That’s why there is a word Training.

Not all applicants who have the abilities are willing to learn another skill which is necessary for the job. Also, it does not mean that if someone lacks on such skills, they couldn't do it anymore, unless they aren't willing enough to be trained. It's part of your job to seek deeper into the applicants by conducting interviews. You were also once an applicant, when you applied, do you already possess all the required skills? If no, then reflect.

Yes but sometimes I apply even when I don't meet the exact qualifications because I believe na kaya ko siya. Some jobs I've had, di ako pasok sa qualifications sa JD but during the interview/assessment/etc and actual work, I was able to impress them with my skill and ability to learn din. Kaya sometimes, I don't think it's necessarily a waste of time especially if the skill is learnable or may potential ka. However, it still boils down to the specifics of the job

Republic Act No. 10911, is a Philippine law that prohibits discrimination based on age in the workplace. It promotes equal opportunities by ensuring that hiring and other employment decisions are based on competence and qualifications, not on age. The law mandates that employers do not decline employment applications or discriminate against individuals due to their age.

Parang insulting naman ng ganitong statement. Kayo nga ang tataas ng standards pero ang bababa naman ng pa sahod. There's always a room for improvement. There are applicants who are willing to learn and you just have to give them a chance. Lahat naman nagsisimula sa pinaka una and eventually malalaman mo kung magaling talaga based sa performance. Wala namang masama mag try if they think they can do the job.
