Paano bumuo ng portfolio with zero clients? I want to start freelancing as a social media manager, but all potential clients are asking for a portfolio of my past work. Eh, paano ako magkaka-past work kung walang kumukuha sa'kin? It's a classic chicken-and-egg problem. Should I offer my services for free just to build a portfolio? Or are there other ways?

Pili ka ng 2-3 brands na gusto mong i-manage kunwari—pwedeng local cafe, clothing brand, o kahit kilalang brand. Tapos, gumawa ka ng sample content calendar, captions, at graphics na parang totoo. Sabihin mo lang sa portfolio mo na “spec work / concept project” ito para malinaw na hindi ito actual client.
