    Starting With Athena
    The good thingsThe formality of things is an edge that places Athena as an organization that brings professionalism and employee respect on the table. The benefits are respectable. The energy of the recruitment team brings so much motivation. The minimalist way of how things are presented - from the website, to emails, to presentations - are pleasing to the eyes that it helps us digest things easily.
    The challengesPerhaps we can avoid changes in directions in email to declutter. The Grit Assessment was too complex for me. I am not sure if the level of dialogues in the company and even with the client will be as jargon.

    Even "the best company" is an understatement.
    The good thingsAthena is definitely the best company I've been with and I honestly don't see myself being with any other companies apart from Athena. Even without the great compensation and benefits that Athena offers, as long as the culture of being "people-centered" remains, I would definitely still choose to grow old with Athena. This is because I always believe in the saying that "The more you appreciate your employees, the more they can achieve from what's initially expected from them." It's great to have a company like Athena because going to work simply feels like having fun at the same time continuously learning to upskill myself. Most of all, I get to do a meaningful job in fulfilling other people's dreams to be part of Athena.
    The challengesThere are no perfect companies. Changes are inevitable because it's the only way we can grow and be better each day.

    The good things- People-first company - 100% Remote Work - forever WFH - Supportive Community - Career growth is highly encouraged - I have the best manager ever - High salary - HMO with 1 free dependent after 2 weeks - Pet support for Fur-moms/dads - The culture is the best - No discrimination at all - The only company where I experience the "Work-Life Balance" - Plus more exciting benefits

    I am blessed to be working for Athena
    The good thingsI've been to many companies and working with Athena is really a blessing not only for me but for my family. Athena allows us to work permanently at home, provides HMO, and pet support, and looks after the employee's wellness, we are paid way above the minimum and are a people-first company.
    The challengesBeing an EA is not an easy job. It really requires you to be focused and knowledgeable about the role. When I applied to Athena, I know that I have to be prepared and ready for what was to come. I searched for the role and even spent long hours watching videos on YouTube so that I will be equipped when I join the training. EA training is not for the faint-hearted, don't expect that everything will be taught.

    Being an Executive Assistant at Athena is Awesome!
    The good thingsThis is the first time that I work in a remote setup and I can say that it added value to my life. I no longer have to report to the office and it saves me a lot of money and time. I really love my job and as a first-timer in this industry, I wonder how I was able to survive the years that I spent commuting. The salary is very competitive and we also have HMO.
    The challengesIf anyone would wish to become an Athena EA, be ready and be reliable. Training is very challenging and it is not for everyone.

    The good things• The application process was amazing. Athena made use of tools to make this phase fast and efficient. • Training was A+. The modules and assessments were very relevant to my role. They also did not skip little lessons that big companies overlook that tend to have huge impacts on work relationships. • Athena has a dedicated matching team to ensure that the client you will get jives with your personal goals, passions, and expertise.

    The good thingsAll work is done virtually, and EAs are equipped with all the tools and equipment needed. Athena also provides benefits, paid time-offs, and pet support, setting each employee for long-term success. Plus, weekly payout of salaries!
    The challengesAthena is still evolving. There are a few changes here and there as the company shapes itself in its ideal form. There is room for improvement in each department and areas that can be fixed with everyone's collective effort.

    Overall, a good company
    The good things- Pay is great - People are generally very friendly and welcoming - Benefits are good, HMO and Pet Support are available - Training was difficult but very very very helpful, especially for newbies in the VA industry
