They Ghost Candidates after the Video Presentation - questionable data privacy
The good thingsTHE OFFICE IS GREAT
The challengesTHE HIRING PROCESS - THEY GHOST CANIDATES AND FORCE TO TAKE A VIDEO THAT I FEEL IS NOT NECESSARY - Feels like auditioning for a movie role - after which they will send a message that is auto generated like the one here in Jobstreet - real phony - unprofessional

Multiple screening rejections despite qualifications, no response to feedback request.
The good thingsI can't leave any good feedback as of this time
The challengesI’d like to raise a concern about your recruitment process. I’ve applied to several roles in your company that align with my years of experience. I’m careful about where I apply and only submit applications for roles I know I’m qualified for. However, I consistently receive automated emails stating I did not pass the initial screening, without any explanation. At this point, it’s difficult not to question how applications are being assessed or what criteria are being used. I also reached out via email to ask for feedback so I can understand any gaps and improve, but I did not receive any response. That lack of communication is disappointing. I’m not asking for special treatment, just basic transparency. Even minimal feedback would help candidates move forward more constructively. I hope this is something your team can improve.

Timely Communication Matters. Ghosting Feels Worse Than Failing.
The good thingsI truly enjoyed the opportunity to go through the hiring process. It allowed me to showcase my skills and learn more about the company.
The challengesImproving the hiring process would be greatly beneficial. I hope that applicants can be given timely follow-ups within the stated timeframe, whether they have passed or not. Being left without any communication feels worse than failing the interview, as it comes across as unprofessional.

OLD EMPLOYEES are still waiting to be redeployed but NO ONE from the MANAGEMENT are working on it!!!
The good thingsThe salary disputes that they don't even miss every payday! (sarcasm)
The challengesEmapta always seems to have open positions, or should I say they are constantly hiring across multiple social media platforms. However, the reality behind this is that many current employees are in floating status and appear to have been abandoned without proper support or redeployment. When employees in floating status try to apply for these open positions, two things usually happen. First, someone from the Talent Bench will say that the position is only for pooling, or that the client specifically requested someone new to the company. Really? If that’s the case, why are existing employees who are already available not being prioritized? Second, after expressing interest or submitting an application, there is often no follow-up at all. Many employees never hear back regarding their application or status. Employees deserve transparency, fair consideration for available roles, and proper communication from the company that they already serve. Your COMPANY SUCKS!!!!

Very challenging because of the office politics.
The good thingsThe trainings and the free gym access.
The challengesManagement and HR. The hiring process was the worst I've experienced. The HR is pro-management. They will not take any actions to rectify an issue.

The good thingsThe team is highly approachable and professional, and the schedule is generally flexible, allowing you to work from anywhere.

If I wasn't only looking quickly for a job I wouldn't have settled for now. The management sucks.
The good thingsThe client I was assigned to was easy to work with but after one year, the tasks become routinary and there is no room for growth here.
The challengesThe HR and CX Manager is very slow to respond. It would take days before they cater to your request. I also found out that I had a very lowballed offer from one of the recruiters.

Client placement is straightforward when your role matches their requirements.
The good thingsSmooth job application process. Hired within almost 3 weeks.
The challengesWhen a client account ends, you're placed under bench profiling. Unfortunately, the profiling team isn't proactive in assigning new clients—you often have to reach out yourself and wait several days before receiving a response or being matched with a role that aligns with your expertise.

Dead end career and no tenure security. Integrity is not present in this company
The good thingsTeammates and other employees
The challengesLack of transparency from the internal recruitment team regarding nature of accounts Lack of protection of employees from unfair treatment of clients Poor office facilities Efforts to reprofile is slow and lacks transparency High salary is what they use to pull you in then you become expendable in a few months wondering what went wrong.

    disrespectful and exploitative.
The good thingsThis recruitment group wasted nearly a month of my time with endless tests, questionnaires, and interviews. On top of that, they asked me to do a sample task that felt like free labor for their client. Even though they said they liked my work, I was still rejected.
The challengesThe worst part? Their rejection emails had the wrong job title — twice. That shows how little they valued my application and the time I invested. Slow communication and careless handling of candidates make this process feel disrespectful and exploitative. I would not recommend this recruitment group to anyone looking for a serious and professional hiring experience. Also, reading some reviews here where there is no job security working here. Better look somewhere else.

    Paralegal
    Jun 2025
Quezon City Metro ManilaLess than 1 year in the role, former employee
Paralegal job is not what it seems to be and employee turnover is highThe job description provided is inaccurate and misleading. The role was advertised as a paralegal position for a U.S.-based company, where responsibilities were supposed to include legal research and assisting U.S. lawyers or a law firm. However, the actual work assigned was far from that. In reality, the job involves making outbound and inbound calls similar to a call center role. It does not involve paralegal work at all. Instead, employees are instructed to handle legal inquiries and respond to clients in a manner that gives the impression they are licensed U.S. attorneys. This is highly inappropriate and misleading to the clients, who are led to believe they are speaking with a qualified legal expert. Furthermore, the client company presents itself to the public as offering consultations with licensed lawyers, when in fact, the individuals taking the calls are not licensed attorneys. This misrepresentation borders on unethical business practices and resembles a scam operation. Also Employee Layoff by the Client is too high. No "paralegal" employee even lasted for 6 months or more. They find ways to terminate you before you get regularized as to avoid regular benefits. No job security definitely. Also if you get "terminated" by the client Emapta will not hire you again for another position for another client since the ground is termination by client which is so unfair to the employee.

EMAPTA Experience is NOT a good experience
The good things- good manager (I was lucky) - relatively chill client - stable pay
The challenges- pro-client, but not pro-employee - HR feels fake in almost every interaction - work experience is highly dependent on your client - NO RAISE, unless client gives a raise (even if the team is performing, if client is not giving a raise, that's that) - very poor support in case of client pull out

By far the most demoralizing employer.
The good thingsCompetitive salary. That's it.
The challengesDon't get blindsided by their competitive offers. Behind those are demoralizing company policies and Emapta Core Management. Emapta is a pro-client company--meaning, regardless if you raise your concern with Emapta PBPs/CXMs, they still follow what the client wishes to impose. -Client/Account can lay you off the team in a snap (literally, like there's a possibility you won't be reporting to work tomorrow anymore and Emapta can't do anything about it) -Every benefit you get is dependent on the client/account -Some clients do not offer yearly merit increase and bonuses (even if you're high performing) -If you work on-site, specifically SFS building, phones are not allowed in prod and you are required to keep your phone inside the locker -You are not allowed to forget to clock in and out when on site as there are no biometrics in the office. Clock ins/outs are done through their portal and if you forget, you are already considered absent for the day -Emapta Core Management team handles employee concerns VERY POORLY. They do not listen to employees. All they care about is what the client/accounts want.

Overall terrible experience with both EMAPTA and Client. Do not recommend.
The good thingsEMAPTA PH: Some people engagement activities WA audit firm client: Open to some compensation suggestions, all expense paid annual dinner/trip, legitimate off-peak season. Local senior staff are mostly nice and accommodating with questions and on-the-job training. Annual bonus and pay raise
The challengesEMAPTA PH: They will never take your side. Client needs will always prevail so going to them with your issues will never resolve it. It won't even reach the client because they do not talk to them nor will they make time to discuss your issues after you raise them. HR will take their time to resolve your HR issues. Overall just terrible. WA audit firm client: Talking from just the experience with the team I was in with a female manager. If you ever make a mistake, even as a newbie or a fresh grad, they will make you feel like any issue with you will be forgotten. It will not. It will constantly be brought up to your coworker friends as a laughing matter regardless of your getting past it. Any improvements thereafter will not be seen at all, much less recognised and rewarded for. Once the manager makes up her mind about you or an event you are involved in regardless if you were the cause of it, no facts or evidence will change her mind, you are the cause. She will talk about you to others the same way she talks to you about coworkers and clients, unprofessionally and distastefully. If you will be in her team, find another job. Annual bonus is the same every year regardless of performance. Pay raise contingent on subjective performance evaluation.

Worst company I have been to. Never liked their management, and will never recommend this company again.
The good thingsI'm fortunate to have been matched with an excellent client.
The challengesI have experienced significant issues with management's approach to employee care. My salary has consistently faced inaccuracies during each pay period, including uncredited overtime and missing holiday pay. For sure they have added me on the do-not-hire list. But it is what it is.

THE CLIENT RESCINDED THE JOB OFFER!
The good thingsThe recruiter is responsive at first.
The challengesI received a job offer, but I attempted to negotiate the compensation package as I believe my skills warrant higher consideration. Despite the recruiter's efforts to discuss this with the client, I was informed that the salary was capped. Prior to accepting the offer, I requested clarification on salary increases upon regularization and merit-based raises. Unfortunately, the recruiter failed to respond to my inquiries, prompting 2 follow-up attempts. Sadly, I discovered that the job posting was re-opened on the company's page during our negotiation. This lack of transparency was concerning. Only after my second follow-up did the recruiter inform me that the client had decided not to proceed with my application. I find this abrupt communication and lack of professionalism disappointing. It appears that negotiating the offered terms may not be welcomed. As a professional, I expect respectful dialogue and clear communication throughout the hiring process.

No Job Security. They will terminate you in a heartbeat. One sweet day, they can call you to a room and tell you your services are no longer required. Do not expect that they will give you a warning. Do not believe all the good reviews for EMAPTA because the HR Business Partner usually just urges the employees to give good reviews even if they treated you badly.
The good thingsWe are a relatively small team and everyone is friendly.
The challengesEven in a small team, silos are slowly creeping in. One team has their own easier, faster way of doing things and they're keeping it a secret from the other team who also do the same task.

They will not give you the chance to explain and defend yourself.
