A Customer Service Assistant attends to customers’ needs, requests, or complaints regarding a company’s products or services. They may provide face-to-face or online inquiry responses and customer issue escalations. It is their duty to understand the customer’s needs and provide the corresponding information or coordination in order to meet them. Customer Service Assistants typically work in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) companies and in nearly all consumer industries such as retail and healthcare.

- Answering face-to-face and online inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Processing customer concerns to the respective departments involved.
- Recording and monitoring the progress of customer tickets.
- Managing relationships with customers and providing resolutions to complaints.
- Coordinating the dispatch of products and services to customers.
- Selling additional goods, services, and promotions.
- Creating and updating customer databases.
