    On 1st December of 2015, POSCO Engineering and Construction Co., Ltd, Korean Construction Company, executed EPC turn-key contract with Masinloc Power Partners Co., Ltd.(“MPPCL”), a subsidiary of AES Philippines for Masinloc 600 MW Power Plant Expansion Project (“Masinloc Project”) in the Philippines.※ AES : World's leading power company, generating and distributing electric power with 35 GW of generating capacity in 18 countries and employing 18,500 people worldwide※ EPC : Engineering, Procurement and ConstructionMr. Donald Gray, Project Director of AES, Mr. Kun-soo Oh, Senior Executive Vice President of POSCO E&C, and other concerned persons participated at the signing ceremony in Manila.POSCO E&C will construct the new power plant, contract value of around US$ 900 million, with a total capacity of 600MW (2x300MW) at Barangay Bani, Masinloc, Zambales(approximately 250 km away from Manila to North-West). POSCO E&C plans to complete the power plant within 38 months after issuance of Notice to Proceed.This power plant uses super-critical pressure boiler technology, which has higher pressure and temperature of steam that result in better efficiency and less CO2 emission than conventional sub-critical technology.POSCO E&C received Letter of Award from MPPCL on November and reached to execute EPC Contract on 1st December, 2015.AES and POSCO E&C have been strategically cooperated for Nuevas Ventanas power plant project since 2006. Afterwards these two companies cooperated for Campiche, Angamos and Cochrane power plants in Chile. Those power plants are successfully completed and executed by POSCO E&C.

    Working here is such a wonderful experience that made you advantage in all aspects.
