Vicente C. Ong, Jr., as founder of GSW, has been a general contractor since 1977 and is recognized as a leader in the areas of structural steel erection, fabrication, and miscellaneous steels. Most of its successful projects are scattered within Manila and the rest of Luzon region. All these are but a learning experience in the life of this construction firm.In the year 2004, GSW decided to expand in another environment, with the same skilled, experienced and well-trained set of team which has been with the company all through the years. This was then the beginning of the present IDEAL BUILDERS DEVELOPMENT CORP., established and administered by the eldest son of the family, being the General Manager, Erik S. Ong, who on the other hand has also been dealing with construction business for a long time.
