It is owned and operated by Unihealth-Parañaque Hospital and Medical Center Inc., a company registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).It is duly licensed by the Department of Health (DOH) and accredited by the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (Philhealth). UPAR also has several accredited HMO’s and Medical Insurance providers. What sets UPAR-HMC apart from other hospitals is the thrust to bring the healthcare cost down, in order to be able to serve the widest clientele, without sacrificing the quality of services that it provides.UPAR is envisioned to become the leading referral center/hospital in the southern portion of Metro Manila. Management Priorities
The good thingsThe company of professionals from administrative, finance, operations and medical. Sportsfest, 2 times a year, company outings depending on the budget set by a certain department. Some free trainings either from the administrative and medical division.
The challengesManagement priorities and so many bosses that would tend to overlap their boundaries and boss you too much. Not much employee benefits like HMO even though we're working in a hospital environment. Even the opportunity to grow will not be enough because once you hit the supervisor level, that is the cap of your opportunity growth in a service related hospital.
