Experienced operations and customer service professional focused on process improvement.
The good thingsIn my role as an Operations Supervisor, what I enjoyed most was the opportunity for growth and responsibility, especially being part of a pioneering back-office team. I liked being involved in building processes from the ground up, including developing standard operating procedures and workflows that helped improve efficiency and structure within the team. I also enjoyed the challenge of handling multiple responsibilities at once, such as overseeing operations while supporting team engagement. It gave me the chance to improve my organizational and leadership skills, and I found it rewarding to see how proper planning and structure positively impacted team performance. Overall, I appreciated the continuous learning, problem-solving, and the ability to contribute to both team development and operational improvement.
The challengesOne of the main challenges in my role as an Operations Supervisor was managing multiple priorities at the same time, especially during peak workloads while handling both operations oversight and team responsibilities. This required strong prioritization to ensure that all critical tasks were addressed properly. In terms of improvement areas, I noticed early on that some processes and workflows in our pioneering back-office setup needed more structure and consistency. I took the initiative to address this by creating and refining standard operating procedures, organizing clearer workflows, and introducing simple tracking tools like checklists to ensure tasks were properly monitored and completed. These improvements helped improve efficiency, reduced errors, and made it easier for the team to follow a more structured and consistent process. Overall, it strengthened my ability to identify gaps and proactively implement solutions to improve operations.

As a highly-effective Operations Supervisor, I've consistently driven top-tier team performance since June 2023 by excelling in team leadership, performance monitoring, and issue resolution, earning "Top Team Lead" awards for Q1 and Q2 in 2024 and Q2 in 2025.

The good thingsMy new hire trainer is one of the best mentors I've ever had, it was a pleasure to be part of her class. The pantry is also well-stocked.
The challengesI have a couple of grievances with this organization: - Whilst they do have a shuttle service, trip delays caused by the driver's bad judgement are still counted against your attendance (despite informing your manager about the matter while you're still on the road.) Their shuttle service drivers are also not properly vetted and are not adept at handling crisis situations (like during the time where there was an altercation between a Team Lead and a New Hire Analyst in one of trips to the office; which, ultimately, caused us to be late.) - Constant reprofiling based on "business needs" (which seems to be a blanket term for reasons involving hasty, last-minute management decisions that no one should dare question.) - Their people managers, most of whom are ill-equipped and are unable to live up to their job titles, demand unrealistic expectations from their one-downs; which you can't question, lest you get slapped with an insubordination notice. Caveat emptor, dear applicant.
