    The challengesRed tape - too many approvals required sometimes even for the simplest things. Although I love the benefits, our HR sucks! I still love the company overall.. no company is perfect.

    A good company, but the position can be discouraging at times...
    The good thingsFlexible working hours, hybrid setup (gives us the freedom to choose our work schedules), provides good compensation and benefits.
    The challengesWorking as an SSA sometimes makes me feel belittled. Some advisors and branch managers treat you as their “personal secretary”. Additionally, other departments from the head office pass some of their job responsibilities to you, even the simplest tasks. There is no proper system in their processes.

Sometimes it is much easier to close deal with complete strangers as they are up for the financial knowledge that you are trying to impart and the planning for brighter future not only for themselves but also for their families.

    Culture is the reason you will stay.
    The good thingsI started out as a consultant and thought that I wouldn't stay here for long as I was just looking for something temporary at the time. Didn't take long for me to fall in love with the culture of the company. The synergy of the team and department I work with is superb. Work was output-based rather than time-based. Well-compensated even when I was a consultant, even more so now that I am a regular employee. The company does a good job of making you feel valued.
    The challengesThe only thing I can think of is that processes are very manual and paper-reliant still but digitalization is underway.

    The challengesSlow internet at the Feliza office, but that may be solved by working from home. That's why I hope the company will no longer require employees to work at the office most days of the week.

    The challengesCommission based. When you run out of prospective client you have to take leads from someone. You should go anywhere where there is prospect to talk to. And you should almost give the favor in order to win the clients.

    The challengesYou are the boss of your own skills, and time. If you do not possess discipline, you may not be suited for the big-time opportunities. No regular salary- we rely on our own commission based on the results of our works. There are 0 sales months which sometimes saddens the journey.
