Inconsistent salary range offerThe good thingscompany and hr appears to be nice
The challengesHi, i was contacted by one of their hr officers via text message and mentioned that a S position is fit for my role.So I checked the position that I'm was being tasked into. I saw that the salary amount ranged is xx-000 to yy-000 . Then a week after i received a phone call. When we got to the point when i was asked as to how much my expected salary is, i said xx-000 . The hr officer then said they cant offer me such amount since my current salary is far from xx-000 (this is not verbatim). Also she mentioned that they are not showing the salary range that they offer, that it is hidden. Since, it has been a week since i checked into the job advertisement, i just thought maybe i remembered incorrectly. We ended the call after a few more dialogues. Then i checked into the job advertisement again, it clearly states xx-000 to yy-000 . So i texted back, saying the reason why i said xx-000 as to my asking salary. Then i received, “Oh maybe that’s for Z position, u’ve applied for N position”. and so i replied back, i said “I understand i didn't pass the phone interview. but to state some clarifications, i didn't apply, Sun Life was the one who contacted me. And I checked again, the salary is for S position, not for Z nor N positions.” And i haven't received a reply anymore.
