Parañaque Doctors’ Hospital (PDH) officially opened its door to serve the general public on May 8, 2007. It is a 99 - bed capacity tertiary level hospital complete with ER, ICU, NICU, Operating room, Delivery room complex and also we are HMO accredited. It is owned and operated by United Hospital Builders Incorporated (UHBI), a company registered with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). It is duly accredited by the Department of Health (DOH), Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (Philhealth) and other private medical insurance providers. What sets PDH apart from other hospitals is its thrust to bring the healthcare cost down, in order to be able to serve the widest clientele, without sacrificing the quality of services that it provides.PDH is headed by a Board of Directors composed of 15 individuals with varied expertise in the fields of medicine, hospital operation, healthcare delivery and business. The Board of Directors is elected yearly by the Stockholders during the annual Stockholders assembly. The Board of Directors is headed by a Chairman of the Board. Under the Board of Directors is the Office of the President of the corporation. Directly reporting to the President are the Medical Director and the Hospital Administrator. The different department heads in turn report to the Medical Director and Hospital Administrator accordingly.PDH is envisioned to become the leading referral center/hospital in the southern portion of Metro Manila.
