What’s it like working at Pan De Manila?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Employees at Pan De Manila appreciate the friendly and supportive colleagues, particularly the technical personnel who are great to bond with. The company offers opportunities for personal development, helping staff become more productive and develop patience when dealing with challenging customer situations. Employees also enjoy the diverse environment, with opportunities to interact with people of various nationalities and customers from different backgrounds.

However, there are some potential challenges to consider. The organisational structure could be clearer, with opportunities for improved cross-functional collaboration and more defined career progression pathways. Shift schedules can change without much prior notice, requiring flexibility from employees, and break times during shifts could be better structured. Additionally, salary rates may vary depending on location, with provincial rates being lower than those in Manila.

A company that is on a sinking boat, and the paddles are on the management.
The good thingsTechnical Personnel are great to bond with.
The challengesWorking here as a professional will drain you. Fellow technical peoples are great. Cross functional collaboration are impossible. The level of professionalism in this company is close to none. Micromanagement are at its max. Non-technical people are more heard by the management. but when things go south, the blame are on the technical personel. it is a sinking boat not unless the management change it's course and set a principle that truly follows the company's mission and vision. No proper organizational structure, Non utilized talents, No opportunity for career growth.

The good thingsThey molds us especially me by being productive, and well mannered in terms of working and also as a person. This company taught me how to manage my patience and anger issues towards other persons, especially our irate costumers.
The challengesShifting Schedules, but still I managed being present and never been late even if our shifting schedule has no prior notice always.
