IP&G was incorporated on July 14, 2011 under the laws of the Republic of Philippines and registered on August 15, 2011 with the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission with its principal office at the 4th Floor of SGV II Building, 6758 Ayala Avenue, Legaspi Village 1226 Makati City, Metro Manila, Philippines. The corporation was formed to acquire the entire Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) business of Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corporation (PSPC), its supply, trading, marketing and distribution of LPG in the Philippines and overseas. Isla LPG Corporation (formerly Shell Gas LPG Philippines, Inc.) operates 10 LPG refilling plants in the country, and boasts of a nationwide distribution system consisting of more than 50 distributors and approximately 10,000 points of sale located in various parts of the Philippines. Its core brand, Shellane-now Solane, is proud of delivering world-class products and expertise to our partners for over 45 years. IP&G is led by the Delgado family whose Isla Petroleum and Energy Company Ltd. (ISLA) is its international investment arm for the energy business. In 2010, ISLA acquired, through subsidiaries, the entire Shell businesses in the North Pacific Islands (NPI) of Guam, Saipan, and Palau. An Itochu subsidiary and the trading arm of Itochu Corporation based in Singapore acquired 25% interest in the Guam and Saipan business. Another Itochu subsidiary is poised to acquire 25% interest in the Palau business. ISLA's parent company is Prospector Investments Limited (PIL), a private equity and holding company owned by the Delgados. PIL also owns 67% in IT&E, the largest wireless company in the island of Guam and the Mariana Islands. An affiliate, the Miascor group, operates airport related businesses from ground handling, aircraft maintenance, catering and airline passenger and cargo sales. Miascor, through a joint venture with Newrest of France, recently acquired 80% of Supply Oilfield Services, a company engaged in the provision of logistics, manpower, and support services to the off shore exploration and mining industries. Itochu, an age-old conglomerate which dates back to the 19th century, is in the list of Top 250 companies in the world in terms of revenue. Through its subsidiary Enex, it also vast expertise in the petroleum downstream business. The Itochu group is one of the world's largest traders of petroleum products, including LPG, and will provide supply at competitive rates.Product & ServicesShellane is now Solane!
