After the management transition, almost senior employees are now resigned. Including me.
The good thingsThe previous management was good. You can feel the "malasakit" to the employees. My colleagues were good. The team buildings were also good (before because they use company hours)
The challengesThe new management demands are unreasonable. They do not listen to the employees. Even in this particular department, it used to be good. Now all they care is about revenue. Incompetence. They are already understaffed but still forces the remaining ones to do extra work that is even out of their scope without extra payment nor allowances. I am talking about the Experts. My TL is never appreciative. You get a score of 5/5 yet he still demands you to do more.

    IASA is a great company
The good thingsWorking environment is very healthy, average salary good place to start your career. They have a lot of benefits (travel perks, HMO and allowances) and you can learn different things because they provide trainings. Management is also good with employees.
The challengesWorking schedule, better to relocate once hired.

    Top management are terrible.
The good thingsNot a typical call center environment as most of the employees are young (fresh graduates) and has decent work ethics. Travel Benefits- specially for those who love traveling Growth opportunities in role/position Recommended for fresh graduates who wants experience and short- term employment.
The challengesTop management - Takes more work without enough manpower/resources. Quality is compromised resulting to current and senior employees suffering. - Slow response to Covid situation - Salary is not competitive at all. - Minimal growth salary wise - HR does not admit mistakes and does not take constructive criticism positively. - Does not hear employees and judge them solely on their actions. - No employee satisfaction since merge with a bigger company. - Politics Not recommended due to current handling of the top management to its employees.

    Very hectic schedule.
The good thingsCommunication skills will be great. You will know more about travel industry.
The challengesEverytime the schedule changes but you are not allowed to be late. Tls are not transparent, they are not honest. Salary is not fixed, every 10 is the big salary while the 25 you will just get low. Hr employees do not care. Even though you have a good stats they are strict in attendance.

Not recommended for long term career plan.
The good thingsTravel incentive GDS (Amadeus). Some Colleagues. Recommend for SHORT TERM only.
The challengesOffice gossips spread like wild fire. Some may judge you base on what you are doing outside of work. Schedules are very, very flexible. Workload increased but not WELL COMPENSATED. The management took too many projects for them to handle and the agents are the one suffering. Transferring to different department will not be easy unless you perform poorly or you are new in the company. If you have a different task, it will be to hard for you to transfer as they will tell you that they are understaffed.

The good thingstravel benefits, cakes during your anniversary, colleagues who will help you to achieve and learn more. you will stay here because of the good colleagues not because of the environment.
The challengessupervisor who's not operationally aware, supervisor who lacks empathy especially during the first months of pandemic, team leads who pass some of their operational works to the agents. contingency plan of the company most specially during the pandemic, they always want their employees to come to work instead of encouraging them to stay at home. policies change from time to time. no salary increase. please do not consider working here fin other job opportunities.

    Stressful and toxic management
The good thingsGood friends, good friends, good friends. That's it.
The challengesBusiness first before employee. During the rise of the pandemic, there is no hazard pay and no wfh for all the employees. They are very inconsiderate. The environment is stressful. Supervisors, managers always put the pressure to all the employees, not helpful at all. More workloads but no increase of salary. There are other better companies out there.

If you are looking here to check reviews and see if IAS is a good company, let me tell you, IT IS NOT.
The good thingsThere used to be travel benefits, but due to covid, that’s currently not available, and it’s understandable.
The challengesUnprofessional management. They act before they think. They gave the littlest care about your two cents. They did a merge, so that means, you get more tasks, but you don’t get an increase. So, there’s that.

    No proper compensation for work
The good thingsYou learn many things about the tourism and aviation industry.
The challenges1. Management turns a blind eye on the rising number of COVID cases. 2. Management cares only about business, and disregards the employees needs. 3. Management and bosses will add more work on your plate but will not give you a raise. 4. Mentally-draining and physically exhausting 5. Seniority

    Despite everything, thank you...
The good thingsThe only reason why employees stayed with them are the following: colleagues that turned into family, benefits (such as HMO, medical allowance, travel benefits, etc) and the former IASA....
The challengesDifficulties? Hmm, the management.... Challenges? I might say the only challenges are the workload but it's fine as long as you love what you're doing...but if difficulties would occur, it's worst...

Good paying job but doesnt care for the employees
The good things-basic pay is so-so. There will be just add ons because of allowance. You will just really feel the high salary if you are night shift 10-7. - some friendly people - travel benefits but it’s nothing right now since there’s pandemic
The challenges-only thinks of the business but not the employees. Selective on who are the agents that will work from home. - supervisors are really dependable. You cannot get definite answers from them. Afraid to speak up for their team. - management is not good in decision making. - schedule is very flexible. It’s different weekly or sometimes every day - will just lure you with money and the benefits but will stress you with poor management - slow career growth - they say that they care for you and they are family but when you open up to them your concern after few days no follow up

Good salary and quite good benifits, no career growth
The good thingsSalary is good if schedule given to you will cover most of the night diffs, friendly co agents and some supervisors, quite a good place if your not really looking for a long term job.
The challengesSuper flexible schedule will be really hard to get a good rest, poor management decision no one can give you the answer inside the company always looking for somebody to blame. Too much business oriented, lacks empathy to its employee eventhough its one of their tagline. No career growth, job will be just repetitive. Seniority is all over the place.

    Ideal only for starters...
The good thingsTravel benefits and a competitive salary (typical call center salary). If you are looking to work for these reasons, consider this company. Some people are great too! Friendly co-agents.
The challengesGrowth potential is limited. You will be stuck doing the same job after two years or more because promotion only happens when someone left and will be based on seniority. Some people are in managerial positions even though they are unreliable leaders and because they have been in the company longer. It sucks when the supervisor doesn't have any clue about what you do in operations, but expecting excellence from employees. I hope the company has evaluation coming from employees (for supervisor) to collaborate on where to improve. I believe that even if you have a high position, self-development is still essential. In the time of COVID, the management did not show empathy—business over employee's health. Overall, I am still grateful for being part of IASA.

    Job is not for long-term.
The good thingsTravel perks. The people makes the stay worthwhile. If you are satisfied with what you have, and are only looking for additional income and something you want to put your spare time into, then give this a go.
The challengesNo career development. Good company to start your career, stay for 1 to 2 years, and you're good to go. The company is not proactive. Most of the decisions are made based on emotions and "heart", and not on proper judgment.

summarize your experience here in one sentence.
The good things- travel benefits - travel reimbursement
The challenges- very very very flexible schedule - management - “business first before employees” - they don’t give proper explanation - sometimes, i feel that the management are playing safe so they will not get all the blame - better workaround could have and can be done, not just by providing accomodation since being exposed to the public is very risky because of the pandemic - for sure, there’s more to come :)

    Unprofessional Supervisor and management
The good thingsjust the travel benefits nothing more. trust me
The challengesSupervisor lacks leadership and management skills. Using personal issues in decision making, very unprofessional. Toxic management. They don't care for their employees and don't listen to the solutions given by the agents since they do not have the initiative to do so. They just focus on "business is business" not thinking that the business will not run if there's no people on it.
