What’s it like working at IASA, Inc.?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Employees at IASA, Inc. consistently praise their colleagues, describing them as friendly, supportive and professional, with many noting that co-workers are the primary reason they remain with the company. The travel benefits and perks are highly valued, along with training opportunities in the travel industry and GDS systems. The benefits package, including HMO, allowances, annual check-ups and night differential pay, are also appreciated aspects of employment.

However, there are some potential challenges to consider. Employees indicate that management tends to be business-focused, with decision-making that could be more employee-centred, particularly during difficult periods. The scheduling system is highly flexible with frequent changes, which can make maintaining a consistent routine challenging. Some employees note that workload has increased over time with limited corresponding adjustments to compensation or staffing levels. Career progression may be limited, as promotions are often based on seniority. Additionally, office gossip can be present in the workplace, and several employees felt the company's response to COVID-19 could have been more proactive with greater work-from-home options.

After the management transition, almost senior employees are now resigned. Including me.
The good thingsThe previous management was good. You can feel the "malasakit" to the employees. My colleagues were good. The team buildings were also good (before because they use company hours)
The challengesThe new management demands are unreasonable. They do not listen to the employees. Even in this particular department, it used to be good. Now all they care is about revenue. Incompetence. They are already understaffed but still forces the remaining ones to do extra work that is even out of their scope without extra payment nor allowances. I am talking about the Experts. My TL is never appreciative. You get a score of 5/5 yet he still demands you to do more.
