What’s it like working at EO Executive Optical?

    AI summary of recent reviews

EO Executive Optical provides valuable opportunities for professional development, particularly beneficial for fresh optometry graduates. The company offers comprehensive sales training with incentives to enhance performance, and maintains strong Christian values through regular spiritual activities and values formation sessions.

However, employees face challenges with work-life balance due to long shifts and inflexible leave policies. The traditional management style involves significant micromanagement and prioritises sales targets over professional principles. Additionally, career progression opportunities are notably limited for employees without college degrees, regardless of their skills and performance.

Good pay, but management values sales over ethics and patient care; no growth, treated like a robot.
The good thingsI enjoy performing eye examinations for different kinds of people, and the entry level experience helped hone and develop my skills as an optometrist
The challengesOne of the main challenges was the management, as the focus was primarily on sales rather than respecting the professional principles and ethics of optometrists.

thanks for the experience, sa bad experience talaga tayo gumugulang. In other words, good riddance
The good things- good experience for fresh grads opto - average salary, benefits are meh
The challenges- work life balance is just words of attraction but NEVER been fulfilled. Paano? 6 days work, 10-12 hours of shift. 1 day off. Mandatory OTs. Oo, mandatory OT. Baket? Ewan ko din bakit. - Sa interview, sasabihin sayo na 2 days off mo tas malalaman on your first day, signing na ng contract eh 1 day lang pala. Not mentioning all HR but do you always do this? HR naman yung fiancee ko and basic details such as working schedule are shared on the stage of interview onset. - walang business continuity plan. Kaya bakit di pinayagan leave mo? Kasi di marunong mag BCP yung ibang manager. Di ka papayagan kasi walang iba gagawa ng work mo. Plan A lang meron. Plan B wala. Pumasok ka or hindi, work at your own risk. Suggestion: sana makinig sila. mag update kayo ng management style nyo. wag puro marketing, best marketing is keeping your employees ika nga.
