The tradition of a perfect cup of brewed coffee is continued through the sales of premium ground coffee products such as Cafe Barako De Lipa and Batangas Brew. In addition to the commitment on great coffee, the founder established Cafe de Lipa in October 2006, a Filipino Coffee Company. The shops give avenues to their customers to open up their senses by enjoying their perfect cup of coffee at different branches in Lipa and Metro Manila.In 2008, The Commissary was established to service the requirements of Café De Lipa. In 2010, there was a reorganization that paved way for the creation of The Artisan BCPC for the business of producing artisan food innovations for the food service industry, gourmet retailers and hometown folks.The Merlo Veterinary Distribution GroupIn 1992, Merlo Agric-Vet Corporation was established to intensify the company’s nationwide veterinary product distribution. The immediate thrust was to expand the territory of coverage, increase the specie of animals being catered to, and to carry products that give value to customers at better margins. It has expanded, and will continue to expand, its present coverage as follows: Southern Luzon Area, which includes Batangas, Laguna, Quezon, Cavite, Rizal and Mindoro, and VisMin area which includes Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao and General Santos. In 1997, Goldstar Agric-Vet Corporation was established to service the Bicol Region such as Camarines Sur, Camarines Norte, Albay, Sorsogon, Masbate and Catanduanes. In 1998, the Tri-Access Veterinary Trading Corporation was then established to cover the areas of Bulacan and Nueva Ecija and eventually expanding to Pampanga, Tarlac, Pangasinan and Bataan.
