What’s it like working at Aon Corporation?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Employees at Aon Corporation appreciate the competitive compensation and benefits package, as well as the good employee engagement activities such as wellness initiatives and birthday celebrations. The modern office and family-oriented culture were also highlighted as positive aspects.

However, there are some potential areas for improvement. A few reviewers indicated that there could be a toxic culture, particularly at the management level, with senior leaders being unwilling to share knowledge and take time to teach. Additionally, some felt that the internal processes and support services could be inefficient or ineffective at times. There were also concerns about working overtime without pay and a stressful workload from some employees.

High Pay vs. High Stress Culture
The good thingsCompetitive Salary and Benefits, Modern Great Looking office, and good employee activities like weekly wellness activities.
The challengesToxic culture mainly contributed by managers up. Ability to self-learn is a huge advantage and be careful to commit a mistake as there is a high chance you'll get embarrassed. Better to mind your own business as people tends to talk.

Great Compensation and Benefits but Bad Culture
The good thingsGreat Compensation Package and overall benefits. Good employee engagement activities (but most are done when nearing employee engagement survey)
The challengesFlat Organisation. Toxic Culture. Senior/Management Level unwilling to pass on knowledge and take time to teach. Data driven to the point that employee engagement is approached as a metric with no sincere follow through. Many are money driven.
