Telemarketers interact with customers using a telephone to sell and promote products and services. Telemarketers can acquire new customers, share information about products and services, and build relationships with customers. Telemarketers typically work in call centers or offices, or work remotely from their own homes. They are employed in a wide range of industries including financial, internet and energy services, hotels and restaurants, transport and real estate. Telemarketers need to be knowledgeable about the products and services they are offering and able to handle questions from customers.Tasks and duties

How to become a Telemarketer
A college degree is typically required to become a Telemarketer. On-the-job training is usually provided.

- 2.Gain experience and hone your skills. Successful Telemarketers with a number of years of experience can be promoted to senior positions in a call center.
