You usually need a degree and extensive leadership experience to become an Operations Manager.
- 1.Complete a bachelor degree. A degree in business administration, business management or a related field can give you the basics of business operations such as managing supply chains, budget monitoring and strategy building.
- 2.Gain extensive work experience. Consider starting off in an entry-level role, such as Operations Coordinator or Operations Assistant. Progress to leadership positions that focus on managing people and processes.
- 3.Consider a masters degree in business administration to advance your position. This will strengthen your skills in people management, process supervision, and formulating advanced strategies.
