How to become a Medical Representative
To work as a Medical Representative, you’ll need to hold a relevant bachelor degree. Sales experience may be an advantage.

Complete a bachelor degree in marketing, business management, pharmacology, nursing, or equivalent.

Different pharmaceutical companies may require sales experience. You can acquire this experience through general sales or retail in other industries.

Complete the intensive training provided by your employer.

Secure an Accreditation Card (AC) by registering with the PRC and the Board of Pharmacy, meeting all the requirements. Annual renewal is required.

Higher education, such as a master’s degree, may be a valuable step towards developing the skills and knowledge necessary for advancing to more senior positions.
