Employees at the University of Southern Mindanao appreciated the opportunity to form bonds with students and colleagues, as well as the immersive learning experiences their work provided. They felt they grew in confidence through teaching students and handling different attitudes. There was also an emphasis on teamwork and unity.
However, some potential challenges included early morning schedules, the need for personal transportation in certain areas, managing noise from students, and time pressure with less time for rest and breaks.
