    Best workplace in my entire career so far! Amazing culture!
    The good thingsTop things for me are the virtual-first setup, competitive pay, culture and benefits. I love that it gives me the flexibility to work from home and anywhere in the PH which allows me be a hands on parent too while also progress in my career. The benefits were well-thought out - love the remote work support allowance - it really speaks to how they take care of their employees outside of work. And last but definitely not the least, the culture is amazing - I get to do challenging work and be surrounded by talented and kind people, which is very rare to find nowadays!
    The challengesThere can be times when there's so much work to be done - not all year round - which is nice for my growth but sometimes can be stretched too thinly, given the lean team and startup culture. It has it's pros and cons. :)

    My experience at Thumbtack has been fulfilling, marked by a supportive culture, exceptional benefits, and the constant drive to deliver excellence amidst high expectations.
    The good thingsI love working at Thumbtack. To be quite honest, this may be the best company I've worked for in terms of benefits, compensation, and achieving a well-balanced life. I appreciate the thoughtful and genuine care that has been put into our benefits, focusing on wellness and providing a stipend for work-life balance. Compensation is above the market rate, not to mention the in-person events planned to build connections. Thumbtack is not the usual company that simply gives out pizza for engagement; they truly invest in building a positive culture.
    The challengesThumbtack is also renowned for identifying great talent, and ensuring that the best individuals are in their respective roles. While this is something to personally take pride in as an employee, the pressure of constantly delivering can be challenging at times.

    The good thingsI have a checklist for finding the best company to work for, and Thumbtack has it all out of all the organizations I've been to. The compensation and benefits are a big jump from my previous work. The culture is amazing, and I feel like I'm part of a family from day one. The people are fantastic, and I've made friends. But what really stood out to me was how much the company cares about its employees. From the benefits they offer to the opportunities for growth and development, I've never seen a company quite like this. If you're looking for a place to work where you'll feel valued and appreciated, Thumbtack is the one for you.

    The good thingsRemote First works for me because I was able to go back to the province and still work for an international company such as Thumbtack. Thumbtack puts emphasis on diversity and makes sure that you feel valued. The reimbursement program is amazing. You can reimburse from pet veterinary cost to Equipment reimbursements
    The challengesThe workload can be overwhelming at times.

    The good thingsI feel tremendously lucky to be in this company. Thumbtack takes it seriously when it comes to work-life balance. They always prioritize the health of their Employees. The people here are so friendly and easy to approach. What I love about Thumbtack is they offer you a high salary package and great benefits. Leaders/Management was easy to approach and will help you with your career goals, and everyone is always happy to help when you need help.

    One of the best places to be as an employee
    The good thingsThumbtack goes above and beyond for its employees. I've never been this much supported in both my career and in compensation. There are also great non-monetary benefits too! On top of everything, the culture is great.
    The challengesThere were some challenges during the RIF that happened due to changes in the industry but the company was able to recover.

    One of the best you will get in the metro
    The good thingsRelatively more transparent and much more humane than most companies in PH. The management are, on the most part, considerate of their employees POVs and overall welfare. Also, people are respectful yet very competent in what they do. You will be embarassed to come unprepared to any meetings because most of those you'll meet with are smart and serious about their work. But it does not mean they are not fun. There are still a lot of casual convo during meetings. Icebreakers are also common during townhalls. Chatbox is always filled with relevant jokes and candid comments.
    The challengesYou will be working with people of excellent profile. Everyone is on top of their almost all the time. There are times that you'll feel pressured of not being able to catch up. But those are normal feelings for someone who cares about his career. You will get over them once you open your self more to people in the company. Lastly, since this is still an shared services company, there will be times that you'd feel like a second-class citizen. But management is doing their best to combat this thinking among the employees.

    The good thingsThumbtack offers above average compensation. They value their people a lot. You'll also get the chance to work with awesome folks! I am lucky enough to have found a company like this.
    The challengesIt would be such a blessing if the company would have retirement plans, generous annual/bi-annual appraisals, competency training, daily free lunch and fitness benefits. From what I've heard, the management is already working to have these additional benefits.

    The good thingsGreat environment! When my friends ask me about my work here, I always brag how excited I feel about going to work everyday. People here are friendly. Everyone is committed into keeping the fun and light work experience that we share!
    The challengesThe company operates 24/7 but the activities usually happen in the morning so most of us are unable to join. I hope we can find a way to get more people involved in these activities. I also hope to hear updates about the company's plan about its employees retirement plans, appraisals and sleeping quarters. :)

    Best thing that happened not just for my career but personal experience, too!
    The good thingsBeautiful workplace, talented and appreciative folks around you, BESTEST culture ever! (nope, not exaggerating here but it's for real!), leaders that show real compassion, a niche that values work-life balance, and you'll certainly gain extra weight! (literally! food is always around)! The way I describe Thumbtack might sound "to good to be true", but this is just an honest experience and I just want to share how pleased I am to be part of this amazing gang. I hope that the culture gets preserved by strictly selecting individuals not just with great talents but with benevolent personality.
    The challengesRetirement, performance incentives and annual appraisal are some benefits needed nowadays due to inflation, industrial competencies and other economical factors. I am confident that they will work on this as they promised. Fitness benefits too, please! :)

    Thumbtack's culture is contagious.
    The good thingsThe culture and values that they share during the orientation aren't just for show; you'll see, feel, and identify those values from each and every employee. You'll also find great mentors who will help and prepare you for career development. You'll feel that you're appreciated and makes you feel that you're "part" of the company because there are different venues/events where you'll be asked for feedback and input.
    The challengesBeing a start-up, the company doesn't have a concrete plan on performance incentives, annual appraisal, and retirement benefits yet. But this has already been raised to the management and they promised to look into it and I'm sure they will.

    The good thingsGreat benefits for a startup, fun and stress-free work environment, and smart people to work with. Working here is a breath of fresh air, especially if you came from a BPO setup. It has the Silicon Valley feel where you can go ask even the CEO in San Francisco anything!
    The challengesThey service the US marketplace primarily so for frontliners, be prepared to work in a 24/7 operations where you get assigned a shift based on the business need.

    The good thingsI get to work with very smart but humble people. "Make each other better" is not just a value that's written on the wall but is being practiced by everyone everyday - it's deeply engrained in the team's culture. Great office environment and love that I'm part of the pioneering team coz there are lots of room for me to contribute and help make things happen and Thumbtack is such a nurturing place - there isn't such a thing as a silly idea!
    The challengesGreat benefits and perks for a startup company. There are a few that I personally aspire for that the company isn't offering yet (wellness programs, performance bonus, telecommuting option at least 1-2 times a month) but it's okay -- I'm sure the company will work to keep improving our benefits.
