SLTEC owns and operates a 2x135 MW clean coal-fired power plant in Calaca, Batangas, with the first unit commencing operations in April 2015, followed by the second unit in February, 2016.In December 2016, Axia Power Holdings Philippines Corp., a subsidiary of Marubeni Corporation, acquired a 20% stake in SLTEC, further strengthening the joint venture.In carrying its operations, SLTEC initiates responsible business practices that safeguard the well-being of the environment and the host communities where it operates.
