    Smart is a good starting company for fresh graduates, but not long term. If you really want to go into networking/communications, I suggest apply to its sister company (PLDT) as they have BETTER BENEFITS for their employees.

    The challengesSalary is not competitive compared with other companies; Employee benefits is low and could be better. Salary grading is still the same from a decade ago. No work-life balance at most times.

    An unattractive choice for IT professionals due to limited growth
    The good thingsRemote work is common, and there is not much workload. You have the flexibility to play games and watch Netflix while on duty.
    The challengesThere is limited career growth, poor management, inadequate compensation, and a lack of willingness to provide internal training. At Smart Communications, self-learning is emphasized. If you are currently in the IT field, I would recommend considering opportunities with other companies.

    The good thingsGuaranteed 14th & 15th month bonus, but that's it.
    The challengesYour voice is NOT heard when you voice out concerns regarding people you work with. There is no work-life balance as people still contact you and EXPECT you to respond even after working hours or weekends. Everything is urgent (even when it is not). There is always re-organization. The roles are unclear as I found myself doing another team's job. Very heavy politics as well.

    The good thingsEmployees in the sales team are given a free hand in managing their account as long as it follows the general direction of the company. We can recommend and execute the programs in order to increase our sales.
    The challengesOur sales job is not routine because we have our own itinerary. Everyday is a new challenge. We need to do better in order for us to be number 1 in the industry. The most challenging part is how to increase the sales of the retailers which is not the job of the sales but more of the role of marketing. The main role of sales is to be able to make our business partners to sell to the retailers.

    Toxic Environment and management. No work life balance.
    The good thingsThere is no good things in this company. They don't value work life balance. I used to work for almost 20hrs straight here and even in weekends. I get my sickness in here. Very toxic environment. they don't value people.
