Shipadmin has more to offer than your average work.
The good thingsThe support from the top executives is fantastic! Transparency is advocated on all ranks, and the culture embraces each and everyone to be part of the Shipadmin family. The Philippine office is an extension of Norway, and we are given autonomy to decide on internal affairs. That will mean that our work is relaxed since there is not much pressure within the Manila office, and the Leads are empowered to make their own decisions for their team. In exchange, the staff are very motivated to improve how they work. Aside from that, the management makes sure that working relationships are professionally handled to avoid conflicts and issues.
The challengesThe main product is very huge and has a lot of interdependences. There should be just enough Documentation for the developers to get familiar with it. The main product itself has a pseudo-SaaS model/structure that needs a lot of rework. If you enjoy working with legacy codes, or likes to innovate old modules, then this will be the right challenge that you might be looking for.
