As an ISO certified Division, it collaboratively enjoins all personnel to be at the pedestal of quality performance for all.It is through this motivational understanding that the Division Educational Development Plan (DEDP) of this Division is a product of the concerted efforts of all its educational leaders and stakeholders to realize the vision of a value-driven Division with empowered people attuned to the culture of excellence.With the objective of ensuring that all Santiagueños have the opportunity to complete K to 12 Basic Education Curriculum, and providing non-formal education through the Alternative Learning System (ALS) to those who are not able to complete formal schooling (adult learners and out-of-school youth), the need of individuals and society as a whole for access to education is met. The provision of learning centers for those with special needs and the inclusion of Kindergarten Education are likewise supportive of the division’s plan to encompass all the needs and interests of all learners in the city. All these targets on educational outcomes are being enhanced through the national and localized Programs, Activities and Projects vis-à-vis with the Key Result Areas defined in the Office of the Schools Division Superintendent, Curriculum Implementation Division, and the School Governance and Operations Division.Schools Division Office of Santiago City stands today as the major showcase and effective catalyst for change in Region 02. It comprises of nine (9) public secondary schools namely: Rizal National High School, Divisoria High School, Cabulay High School, Santiago City National High School (Main), Patul National High School and the newly established Rosario National High School and Sagana National High School, including Divisoria High School-Naggasican Extension and Santiago City National High School-Sinsayon Extension. There are 32 public elementary school of which four (4) are under the Integrated School status: Salvador Integrated School, Balintocatoc Integrated School, San Jose Integrated School and Sinili Integrated School. The SDO continues to establish strong and vital partnership with the private education sectors of the City.
