In 1994, following with a downturn in local construction, SOTA introduced products and services to offshore markets. During our early overseas projects, unitized panels were manufactured in Canada and shipped to their destination where installation was supervised by our forces. However, as demand for our products in Asia increased, the need for an overseas manufacturing plant became apparent.This resulted in the creation of SOTA Philippines Inc., and a 50,000 ft2 plant in Manila, Philippines. It is well positioned for shipping to South East Asian markets as well as servicing the local market in the Philippines. Our philosophy is to maintain a high standard of design, manufacture, safety and management through our facilities worldwide. As such, this plant is fitted with the same automated systems, and is staffed with skilled and educated workers trained in the manufacture of our products.
