Policies are clear, but feeling welcome is optional
The good thingsRun! :) everything’s on paper, but guidance is off the radar
The challengesWhile more time for practice would greatly improve the learning experience, it seems newcomers are expected to “figure it out” quickly. The salary and workplace culture are often talked about, but transparency is lacking, making it confusing for those just starting. Supervisors, who are supposed to guide and mentor, sometimes act more like bystanders than leaders. A little engagement with newcomers—welcoming them properly, checking their progress, and making them feel part of the team—would go a long way. As it stands, the industry experience can feel more like trial by fire than supportive learning.

Supportive workplace with great benefits, but recent management changes impacted the culture.
The good thingsREPH offers a 7-hour work shift, generous benefits and compensation, including 4 HMO dependents, 30 paid time off (PTO), and a retirement fund with company matching. It’s a great environment for continuous learning and establishing your career. It used to have a strong work-life balance and supportive culture.
The challengesHowever, recent changes led to a noticeable increase in attrition. Many employees have left, and new external hires in management have struggled to uphold REPH’s established culture. This shift has introduced micromanagement and internal politics, which affected the once positive and collaborative work environment.

A good company for building experience but would not advice to stay long term
The good thingsWas open to no experience applicants, 8 hrs shift/ day included break
The challengesLow salary, pay raise and monthly incentives that is almost none existent, limited opportunity for growth, too much bureaucracy

REPH- best company I've ever been!
The good thingsREPH adheres to its core values. They value their employees. Everyone is professional and respects each employee. Work life balance is observed. Good working environment, great benefits early retirement, HMO is up to 4 free dependents on day 1, up to 30 PTOs, rewards, engagement activities, etc..) Management is great (Servant Leaders)
The challenges Challenges are inevitable for every company. With REP, it depends on the division and department. Some say. low salary, some volume of workload. I'm lucky to have moved to SMO, which I think is the best division (salary and work flexibility wise).

Don’t fall for the flowery words, Run!
The good thingsLocation 7hr Working Shift Retirement Plan
The challenges- Compensation is not at par with your market value - Disorganized Management - Lack of career progression unless laterally moving into one dept or division - PTO Utilization; Though it may vary team to team but for us it was a hassle and hustle before you can utilized - We are not valued - As a cost saving site, It prioritize saving vs checking the ground zero for day to day activities - Terrible workload As for candidates - They want the best candidate for the petty roles yet not compensating them better

    It is a corporate company
The good thingsThe supervisors are very attentive and focused to help you reach your goals
The challengesYou really have to work for every promotion. You need to do a lot of reportings, a lot of case studies for the required yellow belt. You need to step up and have to think for a lot of initiatives and best practices and come up with something that will help get the job done easily and easier but still with quality

The good thingsAs a BPO, they are the Greatest Of All Time. Although they are Shared Services, their nature resembles that of a BPO
The challengesEven the IT Development Department are treated as a BPO.

Best place for a long term career
The good thingsHR support, Engagement Activities, Benefits, and work culture.
The challengesDepending on the department you work for, metrics is too high just to meet monthly incentive. Borderline to extensive OT including weekends but all of these are paid.

Reed has fostered all of the traits above and developed me and many in the very best they could, that’s why I’m still going strong reaching 6 years and more and more.
The good thingsI’ve got a lot to thank Reed for, most especially, as I sustain to provide my mom’s HMO since day 1, team buildings, best BUs, the giving back community projects, great summer outings, fun family events, i even missed the most awaited year end party because of this pandemic but still they find the best solutions as we work from home to enjoy and be mentally healthy and most of all making sure to have people with the same vision and goals.
The challengesAbout 6 years ago, I thought I knew everything, as I came from the most reputable companies but I didn’t and still don’t, I’m still learning and a lot more despite being in this industry for so long but this last 6 years (almost) with Reed has really been the making of me.

    Care for employees, fun company
The good thingsTheir care for employees even during or before pandemic is great. Supervisors are supportive, guiding, and kind. Company has a lot of activities too like clubs and seminars. Worksite is also great. Gives out lots of bonus too depending on team and performance.
The challengesThere is overtime depending on workload.

    Company indeed value what matters!
The good thingsEmployees are taken care of. There's a great balance between work and personal life so much so that a lot of employees stay even after being offered bigger salaries.
The challengesWork-from-home setup is all but temporary. Looking forward to more concrete plans on how employees can enjoy the WFH set up permanently.

NO EMPATHY IN THEIR HR DEPARTMENT
The good thingsNONE SO FAR. THE EXPERIENCE IN APPLICATION LACKED EMPATHY.
The challengesThe HR lacked principles in terms of updating the candidates if they are still under consideration for the role or not. They are diligent when your application is on process but if you're not selected for the role, they just disappear without a single word. I hope the HR here have some decency and respect for the applicants and update them AT LEAST whether they are no longer under consideration or whatnot.

    Could have been better
The good thingsEmployees' safety is their priority, I commend their response during the pandemic; Good colleagues; hardcore accounting wherein you will gain a lot of experience; 2 PTOs per month
The challengeswork-life imbalance, requiring employees to attend non-curricular activities (not everyone sees that as work life balance especially if events are on a weekend) and will affect your annual performance, mgt does not listen to concerns of employees; absorbs more workload but they will not add new headcount
