Working here offers good learning, but communication and professionalism in HR need improvement.
The good thingsThe work is challenging, which helps you grow. You get to handle tasks from start to end, so you can really learn the whole process. There are good opportunities to gain experience if you are willing to learn.
The challengesThe HR department is often unresponsive, especially when it comes to payroll and benefits. I experienced a salary discrepancy before, and it took 3 months to be credited to my account. I followed up many times, but there were no updates.
Even simple requests like office supplies take a long time. There was a time it took 2 months before the supplies were provided.
Another concern is how some HR personnel treat messengers. There were times they were scolded in public instead of being talked to privately. Because of this, employees feel uncomfortable approaching HR. Most of the time, responses are cold or there is no reply at all.
