    CORPORATE HISTORYPhilippine Seven Corporation (“PSC”) was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) on November 1982. It acquired from Southland Corporation (now Seven Eleven, Inc.) of Dallas, Texas the license to operate 7-Eleven stores in the Philippines in December 13, 1982. Operations commenced with the opening of its first store in February 29, 1984 at the corner of Kamias Road and EDSA Quezon City, Metro Manila.     The challengesThis has been one of the most challenging working environments I have experienced due to leadership concerns at the division level. The management style tends to be personality-driven and overly authoritative, which discourages open dialogue and collaboration. Differing ideas are not always received constructively. There are noticeable gaps in analytical skills, accounting and tax expertise, communication, clear delegation, and leadership. Instructions are often vague, leading to misalignment and unnecessary rework. The environment can become emotionally draining for team members who value transparency and objectivity. While the company itself is reputable and stable, leadership limitations at the division level may hinder progress and prevent the team from reaching its full potential.
