    Customer Service Call Centre Representative
    Oct 2025
Bacolod City Negros Occidental1 to 2 years in the role, former employee
During my experience as a call center representative, I handled customer inquiries and complaints
The good thingsWorking as a call center agent offers valuable communication experience, opportunities to develop problem-solving skills, and the chance to build confidence while helping customers.
The challengesWorking as a call center representative can be challenging due to dealing with difficult customers, handling high call volumes, maintaining patience under pressure, and meeting strict performance targets.

Valuable 9-month experience that strengthened my customer service and communication skills in a fast-paced BPO environment.
The good thingsWhat I liked the most about my previous job at PanAsiatic Solutions was the opportunity to interact with customers daily and help resolve their billing and account concerns. I enjoyed being able to provide clear solutions, build trust through professional communication, and ensure that each customer felt valued. The role also helped me develop stronger communication skills and adaptability, which gave me a solid foundation for handling more complex customer service situations in my later roles.
The challengesOne of the challenges I experienced in my role at PanAsiatic Solutions was dealing with high call volumes and sometimes handling frustrated customers back-to-back. While it was tough at times, it taught me patience, resilience, and how to stay calm under pressure. Another challenge was the limited growth opportunities since it was an entry-level account, but I used the experience as a stepping stone to build my customer service foundation and prepare for more complex roles later on.

    Supportive environment/management, minimal wages
The good thingsInitial training is paid similar to a new hire employee; supportive management and environment despite minimal experience of new hires/trainees; safe and inclusive hiring; HMO
The challengesminimal wages offered even for new hires - with difference between wages of trainees, new hire, and tier 1 employees relatively low for their skill gaps; focuses on quantity rather than quality resulting in low wages

Company did not actually vauled it's people
The good thingsThe good thing is that the company has given me a chance for personal and professional development. I obtained new skills as well as experience in BPO industry. I also enjoyed working with great people especially with my co-workers but not actually satisfied with the company's management.
The challengesHandling too many accounts at a time was challenging at first but I get used to it in the long run. Another thing is overtime. It is not bad but being forced to do 10-12 hours everyday is too much not to mention that employees are not being paid enough for such effort.

Eventhough the compensation is low, it is a great place to experience something new.
The good thingsThe work environment is awesome and is friendly. A place for learning and career development.
The challengesIt's just the compensation that was a bit of a problem to me in staying in the company due to daily life demands.
