What’s it like working at OYO Technology and Hospitality?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Employees at OYO Technology and Hospitality appreciated the training opportunities provided, such as OYOversity, where they could learn a lot. The company also offered benefits like stock options, free laptops upon resignation, allowances, and HMO coverage. Some reviewers enjoyed the flexible schedules, nice office spaces, young workforce, and cool working vibe.

However, there were concerns about the qualifications and integrity of leadership, with a perceived lack of clear direction, transparency, and compassion from management. Some employees felt undervalued and mistreated, with instances of abrupt furloughs, favouritism based on relationships rather than performance, and a lack of consideration during the pandemic. A number of reviews mentioned poor work-life balance, with expectations of long hours, working until late at night, and a high-pressure environment focused on sales targets. There were also indications of a toxic company culture, with gossip, one-sided decision-making, and a lack of trust in employees.

Incompetent leaders or should I say followers
The good thingsThe leaders here are would rather be followers to stay on top.
The challengesThere's no clear leadership and direction. People come and go in this company, the management does not deserve any long term commitment from its people because they themselves do not put a value on their staff.
