The good thingsBecome a good follower and you will be rewarded pretty well
The challengesThe qualifications of those who lead are questionable. Most of the employees and customers are unhappy due to the lack of transparency and integrity from the management.

OYO lives up to its name a BUDGET hotel and company
The good thingsOYOversity is a good venue for training. You will learn a lot of things during the training.
The challengesLeadership and management is crooked. A company with no compassion and consideration during the pandemic. Most employees were furloughed without due notice.

Incompetent leaders or should I say followers
The good thingsThe leaders here are would rather be followers to stay on top.
The challengesThere's no clear leadership and direction. People come and go in this company, the management does not deserve any long term commitment from its people because they themselves do not put a value on their staff.

Prioritizing External Employees vs Direct Hire
The good thingsProvides communication and transpo allowances on top of basic salary
The challengesThey have budget in paying for external personnel but they don't have budget for direct hire which resulted in furlough of most employees.

The good thingsCompetitive and above-industry compensation. They will even give stock options and laptop once you leave.
The challengesThey put the management on top of everything. They do not practice integrity so if you have this, you might lose it here.

Do your research first before you apply
The good thingsGood things does not exist in this company.
The challengesThey will hire people outside of their organization even if hundreds and thousands of employees are still under their furlough pool. They will make hiring a top-secret and their company name confidential in order to avoid complaints.

    No Direction and Career Growth
The good thingsFlexible working schedule and nice office space
The challengesThere is no clear path and it's unclear how assigned tasks contribute to the company. The tasks given are far from what was discussed in the interview and what was on the job description. Many employees were put on furlough during the pandemic but they can still afford to hire external consultants.

    OYO is the great pretender
The good thingsall the false promises sounded really good at first! The management has a knack in doing that.
The challengesThe management is very raw in terms of leadership and motivating its people. If you expect a work-life balance, this is not the company for you. All that matters to them is to sell even though the service is flawed. If you are a performer and this company, don't be complacent as well. OYO is renowned for letting go of employees for no reason at all.

A company that has a good challenge
The good thingsThe company provides quality training. Employees are empowered to make decisions. And the best experience is the work life balance.
The challengesThere are times that we need to stay up late during month ends because of the last minute adjustment. This is not something bad, but instead a good challenge.
