What’s it like working at National Commission For Culture And The Arts?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Employees value the exposure to national events and celebrations, as well as the opportunity to work with National Artists and travel around the country. Supervisors are supportive, helping staff discover their potential and develop new skills through challenging responsibilities. The work atmosphere is positive, with genuine and passionate colleagues dedicated to preserving arts and culture, and employees enjoy meeting new people through their diverse work.

However, there are some potential challenges, such as a heavy workload with rushed papers and expectations to work beyond office hours, including holidays and weekends. Benefits for contract service workers could be improved, and the fixed schedule for all staff can sometimes conflict with individual schedules and other commitments. Additionally, some bureaucratic processes are present, though they are minimal compared to other government agencies.

The good thingsDiscovering my potentials thru my supervisor. My supervisor helped me to get to know government works, particularly the evaluation scheme. I was also trusted with other responsibilities that challenged me to learn new works. My supervisor trusted and believed in me. The downside though is that there is a tendency to overwork beyond office hours, and even on holidays and weekend. Experienced wise this government office thought me a lot!
