Mitsui Industria Corporation was organized mainly to manufacture stainless steel flatware (spoon & fork) intended for the local and international markets. The demand for stainless flatware became so high that several affiliate companies were created to cater for the needs of foreign clients. Some notable customers were WMF and Oneida. As of today, Mitsui Industria Corporation is the sole manufacturer of stainless flatware in the Philippines with distribution points ranging from Luzon to Mindanao. In early 2009, the company decided to create a distribution arm, which would focus on distributing quality brands from foreign countries. Applying a multi-level strategy (distribution/marketing/after-sales service), this division managed to grow its sales, product lines, and manpower in a short span of three years. As of early 2013, two brands have been successfully integrated to this division: Rinnai and Zojirushi. With its proactive approach in doing business, the brand development unit of Mitsui Industria Corporation is committed to work hard to provide quality products and services to existing and future customers. No amount of serious competition could force this company to sacrifice the quality of its products and services. This is a testament to Mitsui’s continuing story of excellence in the field of entrepreneurship.
