No proper training, poor management, and unrealistic expectations. Employees are set up to fail,
The good thingsService vehicle and reimbursable allowances is awarded after getting hired
The challengesMariwasa Siam Ceramics Inc. is one of the worst-managed companies I have experienced. The lack of proper training is shocking. Employees are deployed to their roles with almost no guidance, no structured onboarding, and no real effort from management to ensure they are capable of doing the job. You are expected to perform immediately, yet the company fails to provide even basic instructions. When problems arise, management shifts the blame to employees instead of admitting their own incompetence in training and leadership. Supervisors are largely unhelpful and appear disconnected from the actual struggles of their staff. The work environment is chaotic, stressful, and unsupportive. New hires are set up to fail, then pressured and criticized for mistakes that could have been avoided with proper training. There is little accountability from leadership and no clear system for growth or improvement. I would strongly discourage anyone who wants a professional and supportive workplace.

Typical workplace, don't expect too much.
The good things-Freedom to do your way of working as long as you follow company's rules. -Good workmates -Open to work anywhere when needed.
The challenges-You're solely responsible for your work and if you are at fault, nobody covers for you. You have no teammates, you're on your own. -Contractual/Project-based, no job security. -Company asks for immediate results but sometimes the other wings of the company are very meticulous in their processes thus there is delay in getting work/results done. -Lack of other departments such as advertising, graphic arts and marketing. -HR needs development in concern for their employees, i.e. presence. -Promotion means more work but minimal salary increase. -Do not over-exceed your work-range, company will not pay for your efforts.

    It's okay. Middling but fun.
The good thingsI learned to love the work amidst the challenge it gave me as a professional. I learned to love the stress it brought to me and through that, I learned to adjust to the everyday ins and outs of the work and workplace. The commute to work was easy and the two offices were near to home. The management are quite supportive and helpful in your growth as long as you do your work and your part. Might as well add that the training and shadowing is quite good and they make sure you do your work well to help you gain your confidence in the work you have to do.
The challenges-When you're at fault, the bigger bosses will really let you know you're at fault. Quite belittling at times, but you get used to it. -Transpo and service are quite hard to avail, this needs improvement -Internet facilities need to be improved -Computer applications and programs need to be improved -There is a problem with the system, payment and process are quite slow. A great detriment when it comes to paying for suppliers when the need for compensation arises. -Some facilities need to be improved, especially work environment. -HR needs to take good care of their personnel more, involve more activities for employees to join in. Take really good care of the employees who do their job well and stay away from politics. They should help the great employees stay in the company even more. There are good sides working with Mariwasa but there are areas in need of improvement which I hope could be fixed. Especially for their current workforce and new employees in the future.
