Lendi is great, as they always strive to be better for their customers and employees, just need to look out for some Team Leads. The good thingsPerks and Benefits. Permanent Work From Home, VL and SLs, Flex first, Free counseling for employees and their families, HMO and Life Insurance coverage.
The challengesWhen they started requiring us to work from office once a week. It is difficult to accept as I looked for a job in a permanent work from home set up, though overtime, I saw the benefits of coming to office once in a while. There was also a time where we find out there'll be no pay increase yearly, but good thing management heard us and did something about it. The most challenging though, is there's a lot of gatekeeping of knowledge. There are a lot of things that only one person knows how to do things and they are not willing to share it to the team. I personally don't understand gatekeeping of knowledge as sharing knowledge for me will benefit everyone including one's self. Also, this is the only place where I need to prove myself first before my people leaders would believe in me, any other employers from the past believed in me first, trusted me with tasks, that made me flourished and naturally proved myself. This does not represent Lendi Group, but I just want to share that I have a Team Lead where, when she did a mistake that affects me, she never apologize for the mistakes. There was also a time she calculated the time how I do my work and it just really seems micromanaging for me as I never missed any deadline since I worked at Lendi, so that's just really unnecessary. I just hope Team Leads will boost the morale of their team members, instead of comparing how they do things as comparing at their level is not fair. Lastly, we just found out that when you resign in Lendi Group Philippines, you are not allowed to have Terminal Leaves (you are NOT entitled to use your leaves) and any other unused leaves will not be paid in backpay. I think, this is something Lendi should look and consider, as employees earned those leaves throughout their stay, only to be surrendered once we leave.
